You may easily donate via PayPal or by sending an email transfer from your bank account to andrei at zodian dot net. Please be sure to complete my contact form to ensure a rebate will be issued.

This blog may also contain occasional "affiliate" such as Amazon.CA and .COM which pay me a few cents if you make a purchase. I plan to tweet other affiliate links, such as WealthSimple, X1 or Qp 565822818448986, as I learn about them. These don't necessarily imply that I use them and are provided as a service to readers.

During an election, donations may take a different meaning.

If elected, I promise to donate an amount equal to the total amount received within the first year of my term to one of my favourite charities (you can choose it in my contact form).

  • Whether you use Paypal (including with credit card) or Email money transfer, donations are secure and no financial information is shared with me except your contact information, amount donated and what you choose to disclose in the contact form.
  • Donations are not tax deductible for municipal elections and no tax receipt will be issued. Donations $25.01 or more can receive a rebate up to 75%. Information about the rebate program (PDF) is available.
  • You must be a resident of Ontario and donations must be from a personal account. Any donations made from a business or an organization will be refunded when discovered. Full details on campaign donation rules are available.

Please see my electioneering article for more details on donations. Here’s a video on how money is both necessary and corruptive in the democratic process.

Here’s a relatively fresh follow-up to the video above.

There is a recent follow-up on corporations being able to by-pass limitations in legislation and provide undisclosed help to campaigns by paying employees to canvass on behalf of key campaigns.

Thank you for all your help, it is much appreciated!
